Zanzibar Island

Day 1. Arrival, pick up from the airport to hotel and start with day 1. Walking tour of Stone town Zanzibar with private guide. Zanzibar is a Tanzanian archipelago off the coast of East Africa. On its main island, Unguja, familiarly called Zanzibar, is Stone Town, a historic trade center with Swahili and Islamic influences. Its winding lanes present minarets, carved doorways and 19th-century landmarks such as the House of Wonders, a former sultan’s palace. We will explore the former old slave market, visit Anglican Cathedral, Sultan Palace, Freddy Mercury museum and more. After walking tour we will continue by boat to Prison island. The British First Minister of Zanzibar, Lloyd Mathews, purchased the island in 1893 and constructed a prison complex there. No prisoners were ever housed on the island. The station was only occupied for around half of the year and the rest of the time it was a popular holiday destination. The island houses a collection of endangered Aldabra giant tortoises.

Big Body With Tatata Spice Farm

Day 2. Go for a spice tour and see how the island’s soils gives Zanzibar the best fruits and spices. While walking through the forest and the fields, you will be able to taste and smell Zanzibar’s treasures and learn more on how they grow and are cooked. You will also have the chance to discover about medical use of some plants and trees, and feel the magical atmosphere of the wild and green part of the island.
Day 3: Magic moments at a very beautiful white sand bank beach, soft white powered sand with clear blue waters. No shops on the island, no toilet, no restaurants, just sand and ocean. The best place to spend half of your day to relax and admire the beauty of Zanzibar. Seafood lunch is included

Nungwi Beach

Day 4: Full day excursion from Stone town in Zanzibar to Nungwi beach which takes about an hour to get there. White-sand beach at Nungwi village on Zanzibar island offering swimming, snorkeling & diving. You will have full day to enjoy at the beach and relax. This part of the tour is for those who don't want to spend days in Nungwi but rather take a day to admire the beauty of the village. For all its bustle, it can still feel secluded. Nungwi’s expansive coastline is wide open for swimming and snorkeling in some of Africa’s most pristine, reef-rich waters. It’s one of the rare Zanzibari beaches untroubled by severe undulations of high and low tides, making it perfect for all-day water activities. Meal is not included. Renting covered tent is not included.

Zanzibar Island
